The Rock Chalk Ball, hosted by the Greater Kansas City Area Chapter and the KU Alumni Association, celebrates the proud achievements, lively traditions and loyal alumni of the University of Kansas. In keeping with the Alumni Association’s mission to strengthen KU, proceeds from the 2009 Rock Chalk Ball will be used to enhance and expand outstanding alumni programs that engage alumni in student recruitment and other advocacy on behalf of the University.

In its 14th year, this black-tie gala will fill the Overland Park Convention Center with spirited Jayhawks and KU friends who will experience an evening filled with fun and surprise—including a special farewell to KU Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway.
